Badminton Fastest Growing Sport

After school, I almost stopped playing badminton and many other games due to my busy lifestyle. I used to play outdoor badminton sometimes on weekends only with my family and friends. But from this year 2020, I started playing indoor badminton with the help of some colleagues Piyush, Abhinav and Akash inside our office campus. We have mostly all the sports inside our office campus like Badminton, TT, volleyball, Basketball, Squash, Cricket net, gym etc. To play badminton we need to book a court one day before. We daily book badminton courts for 1 hr and play in the evening. We play from Monday to Friday mostly. Why to play badminton? Badminton has less injury rate as compared to other sports. Badminton has fewer players so the crowd is less. Badminton is an indoor sport so we can play any time. Badminton is an inexpensive Sport as we need a racket, a shuttlecock, and a court to play. Badminton is the fastest growing sport in India.   Some Health Benefits of Playing

How Yoga can change our life

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY         Today morning during this international yoga day, I was remembering my old days and benefits of Yoga and how I overcame severe back pain with the help of Yoga. In Aug/2011 when I was working in Hyderabad. After 4 months of marriage, I got severe back pain and due to this back pain, I was not able to walk for a distance of 200 meters also. I went to the doctor, he told me to do some tests and after the test came to know it was due to high cholesterol. I was disturbed with severe back pain and started thinking how to come over from this problem. After one month, I searched in google, about Yoga for back pain. I started doing yoga for back pains daily morning for 30 minutes and restricted my diet to limited. I continue my daily morning yoga and diet schedule for the next 3 months. After 3 months, my back pain was completely gone and my cholesterol level also came down. After that I never faced any back pain in my life till now and am enjoying my life

My running journey from 5 km to Half Marathon

My journey of Half marathon started from TCS50 billion steps challenge which was organised on completing 50 years of TCS. It was a 10 days billions step challenge from 28/Sep/2018 to 07/Oct/2018 for all TCS employees globally. During the TCS50 billion steps challenge I joined a TCS internal running group of around 10-15 people made by Bilal and Prakash. During this 10-day challenge, every morning we all gather at one place, do some warm up and start running/walking and after finishing run/walk we do some cool-down exercise and then back to home. We continued this routine for 9 days and daily we used to do around 5 km run/walk. Last day on 07/Oct/2018, we planned for a long run of 8-10 km and that was my first day when I ran 10 km before that I never ran 10 km. I enjoyed this group and learnt a lot of things during these 10 days. TCS50 Celebration Day on 7/Oct/2018           I continued my running routine. One day I saw an ad in the newspaper about Skechers Performance Chennai

Benefits of Morning Walk

"Walk an hour a day and move your diseases away"         There are several ways to lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle and walking is one of them. Walking is good for us as it is an aerobic exercise that burns calories, improves blood circulation, and makes us feel energized. In the beginning, start walking for 30 minutes at a slow pace and then increase the time to 1 hr or 10,000 steps every day. Always we need to do warm-up and cool-down exercises before and after walking to prevent injuring your muscles and tissues. It is always suggestable that if you have any orthopedic or any other health issues, consult your doctor before setting your fitness goals. Best Time For Walk - Morning is the best time to walk. A 30 minutes’ walk in the morning can change your life! This is especially true if you are dealing with lifestyle-related diseases, such as diabetes, obesity, heart disease, etc. A morning walk is easy on your joints and heart, and the fresh air in the mornin
